THURS JUNE 12
The Lancashire Poetry Relay Team
(Spoken word)
50mins
Five people (two blokes and three girls – all in the twilight of our lives and loving it) all performing poetry that is fundamentally full of fun and funny to boot. A mixture of poems, songs and comedy with lots of audience interaction. One of us plays the keyboard to accompany the songs, the rest of us sing along – sometimes even in tune.

Sam Serrano: Mars
(Stand-up comedy)
60mins
In September 2021 Sam Serrano was spat at in the street for wearing make-up. Fast forward to 2025 and they’ve written a show about it to make hate crime lucrative. This is a show that aims to find the root cause of homophobia and how more understanding from both sides can help create a better world for everyone to live in.
Serrano is one of the fastest rising stars on the comedy circuit and has appeared on Comedy Central, Dave and UKTV.
With ‘killer lines’ (Chortle) that ‘put that X in X Factor’ (York Press), Serrano is a ‘game changing act’ (Concept Comedy) and should not be missed.
