Pheobe Foxtrot is an accomplished artist, illustrator and performer from Preston.

Her 1-2-1 performance at Preston Bus Station is one of the #lancsfringe new work commissions.

This work – Capacity to Hold – will take place across six hours from 12noon on Saturday, Sept 28. 2024. Just turn up and sit down with Phoebe. She will sit with you while you make a clay pinch pot.

As part of this development work, Phoebe is also asking for women to submit stories about their life which she will tell during this event and as part of the development of the project.

Short Blurb (20 words):

Join Preston’s very own arty-farty-fairy-godmother, Phoebe Foxtrot, for a special 1-2-1 storytelling and mini clay workshop.

Capacity To Hold is a celebration of women and all the amazing things they can do. From climbing mountains to bringing world peace, hear the stories of women from around the world, whilst you make your very own little clay pot. 

‘Story swap, make a pot’. A durational performance of 10-minute 1-2-1 performances held in the historic architectural masterpiece that is Preston Bus Station.

Event takes place from 12noon to 6pm. Drop in at any time.

This is a new commission piece for Lancashire Fringe Festival which will go on to be developed into a new piece of work by the artist.

This event is part of a day/eveing of performances at Preston Bus Station.

This durational performance sees Phoebe Foxtrot inviting people for a 10-minute 1-2-1 performance to hear a real life story about the achievements of a woman and make a small pinch pot to take home. Participants have the option of telling her a story too.

The durational performance involves hearing a story about an amazing women and something she is proud of, about her self.
