This town is full of artists! Open call, for park photos and park art.

Want your photo or artwork up in a Burnley park?

Culture Makers are putting up big outdoor photography boards in three parks and we want to fill them with your images.

Parks:

• Scott Park
• Towneley Park
• Thompson Park

What is happening?

There are two photography boards in each park.

Each board has three panels.

Your image could be printed and displayed outdoors for everyone to see.

Images should be portraits shaped.

What you can send?

A park photo you have taken.

A photo from a park event through the years.

An old family photo in the park.

A drawing, collage, digital art, or any artwork inspired by the parks.

Old photos welcome.

New photos welcome.

Phone photos welcome.

Park art welcome.

Cost:

Free to enter.

Free to submit.

If your image is chosen, we will print it for display!

How to submit?

Subject line: Burnley Parks In The Frame

In your email please include:

1. Your name.
2. Your Image/s.
3. Which park your image is linked to.
4. Optional: Short caption or memory.

Important note on image quality:

Phone photos are fine if you send the original file.

Photos sent through WhatsApp or downloaded from Facebook are usually too blurry to print.

Can I enter if I am not a professional photographer?

Yes. Everyone is welcome.

Can I send an old photo?

Yes. Old photos are encouraged.

Can I send more than one image?

Yes. Send your best 1 to 3.

Can I submit artwork instead of a photo?

Yes. Park art is welcome.

What happens if my image is chosen?

We will print it and display it on one of the boards in Scott Park, Towneley Park or Thompson Park.

Will every image be shown?

We will include as many as we can, but space is limited so we will be selecting.
